What Have We Been Up To?
As the fall semester wraps up, we’re excited to highlight the incredible opportunities our members have experienced this year!
Thanks to our Community Outreach team, we partnered with Thread Up Oxford, offering members a meaningful way to give back to the community. Our Public Relations team led a rebranding effort that boosted our Instagram following by 37%, introduced WIB-branded notebooks, and provided professional headshots to enhance members’ LinkedIn profiles.
Our Professional Development team elevated programming with 92% of speakers hosted in person, a new Monday employer series, a Cincinnati day trip, and impactful events like Pre-Career Fair Prep and Mock Interview Day. We also welcomed 61 new members through recruitment, who have already made impressive contributions.
Finally, our Events team organized a Spring Conference with inspiring speakers Amy Murray and Megan Gerhardt, exciting raffle prizes, and a Fall trip to Indianapolis, where members explored companies like Salesforce, Eli Lilly, and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
We look forward to an exciting year ahead, with so many exciting initiatives to look forward to!
